About The District
The South Davis Sewer District was established in 1959 by Davis County as an independent special district to provide wastewater services to southern Davis County, including Bountiful, Centerville, North Salt Lake, West Bountiful, Woods Cross, and unincorporated areas south of Lund Lane. Governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees, the District serves just over 100,000 residents through two treatment plants: the North Plant in West Bountiful with a design capacity of 12 million gallons per day (MGD) and the South Plant in North Salt Lake with a design capacity of 4 MGD. The District also maintains a collection system with over 380 miles of sewer lines, 9,000 manholes, and 11 lift stations.

Mission Statement
To provide a service for the collection and treatment of wastewater in the most efficient, economical and safest manner possible. The District believes protecting public health and the environment is parmount in the processing of wastewater. Therefore, the District's resources will be managed in the most effective means to achieve this objective.
